Press Release: "Sanctuary" & "Death and All His Friends"

Here is ABC’s official press release for the Grey’s Anatomy two-hour season finale, which airs May 20.

And the last press release of season six is in, folks! ABC released the details for both finale episodes in one press release, and, unfortunately it’s not much to go on–in fact, it’s probably nothing you didn’t already know. Sanctuary and Death and All His Friends air May 20.

“Sanctuary” – In the first hour of the two-hour season six finale, Seattle Grace Hospital is hit with a crisis like no other in its’ history,  on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, MAY 20 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

In the second hour of the season finale, “Death and All His Friends,” Cristina and Meredith’s surgical skills are put to the ultimate test, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, MAY 20 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Grey’s Anatomy” stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt and Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins.

Guest starring Mandy Moore as Mary and Ryan Devlin as Bill. Other guest cast tba.

“Sanctuary” was written by Shonda Rhimes and directed by Stephen Cragg. “Death And All His Friends” was written by Shonda Rhimes and directed by Rob Corn.

Well, if this is all we get for a finale press release, I’m willing to bet pretty good money on the idea that we won’t be getting any promo pics before this episode airs. So I guess you’ll just have to stare at the pretty cast pic this time! Eating my words an losing good money! See them below.

    LOL This is a very underwhelming press release. Interesting how all of ABC's other season finale press releases are freakishly spoiler-filled and all we get here is NOTHING. Though I guess that's what we get for having a game-changing finale. I like how not even ABC could spell out the entire hospital's name, reverting back to just “Seattle Grace.” They really should've come up with a better, shorter alternative than “Seattle Grace Mercy West.”
