The rumors have been circulating for days now that an actor or actress on Grey’s Anatomy has been fired from the show, but they just haven’t been told yet. And more and more, everyday, it sounds like this person is TR Knight. And now, it is being reported that TR Knight has walked off the set, said goodbye to his hair and make-up people, and packed up his dressing room and told Shonda that he “has nothing to say.” According to the source, TR Knight hasn’t been showing up for table readings since episode two and that he thinks his storyline is “stupid.” Except that…there’s no storyline to speak of. George has been pretty non-existent this season and, to be completely honest, I think that where his story may have been heading would have been really neat, what with the crapartment and Lexie and becoming a resident. But what would he suddenly want to quit one of TV’s hottest shows? And who is the rock of the show going to be?! Simply put: if this rumor is true, it is going to be an incredibly sad day in the Grey’s Universe. Worse than when Isaiah Washington was fired, worse than when Brooke Smith was fired, even worse than when Shonda brought Denny back from the dead (again…and again).
