ABC will air a special show called “Come Rain or Shine: From Grey’s Anatomy to Private Practice.” This special will air on Wednesday, September 19, one week before the premiere episode of PrP. I hear this special will include clips (from all three seasons) for why Addison came to Seattle to why she decides to leave town. This should be a great way to get those folks that may not be familar with Addison (wait – there are people out there that don’t know her??) and her storyline up to date and ready to check out PrP the next week!

And now for the spoilers for “In Which Addison Finds the Magic”:

Maya deals with her parents’ divorce in an unusual way: she tells her mother that she’s happy they are divorcing and that she’s been wishing for it since third grade! She also tells her mother that maybe it’s time she (the mother) gets a life. Bride-to-be Cathleen goes to the bridal shop so the tailor makes adjustments to her dress. When the tailor tells her to breathe in in order to zip the dress, Cathleen panics saying that she didn’t gain weight and then starts to cry. She is afraid that her fiancé Geoffrey will leave her as soon as he discovers she’s not as hot and young as she used to be. Later, the couple meets with Addison because they are having sexual problems. When what Addison prescribed doesn’t work, Pete comes to the rescue. A babysitter brings 8-year-old Jessie to the hospital after she fell down cold in the living room while playing with her siblings. Jessie had been sick for the past few days but was doing better. A now-single mother wonders if she can make ends meet and raiser her two twin girls. While she is chatting with her friend, one of her daughters passes out. Cooper treats the kid.
